HN Lin
Hsin-Nan Lin recieved his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Computer and Information Science, National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 1997 and 1999, respectively. He received his Ph.D. from Bioinformatics program, Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) in 2010. His current research interests include protein sesequence analysis and annotation, next generation sequence analysis (mapping and de novo assembly).
CT Chen Ching-Tai Chen recieved his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Computer and Information Science, National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 2000 and 2002, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree from Bioinformatics Program, Taiwan International Graduate Program, Academia Sinica, in 2012. His current research interests include protein structure/function prediction and machine learning applications in the field of bioinformatics.
TY Sung
Ting-Yi Sung is a research fellow in the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taiwan. She received her Ph.D. in Operations Research from New York University in 1989. Since then, she has joined the institute. Her current research interests include biomedical literature mining, protein structure prediction, and analysis of high-throughput mass spectrometry data.
WL Hsu
Wen-Lian Hsu is a research fellow in the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica. He is also an IEEE Fellow. He received his Ph.D. from Cornell University in 1980. Prior to joining the institute as a research fellow in 1989, he was an assistant professor and a tenured associate professor in Northwestern University. His research interests include biological knowledge base, intelligent knowledge management systems, biomedical literature mining, protein structure prediction, design and analysis of algorithms for biological computing, and natural language processing.
